The average life cycle for a male house dust mite is 10 to 19 days. A mated female house dust mite can last up to 70 days, laying 60 to 100 eggs in the last 5 weeks of her life. In a 10-week life span, a house dust mite will produce approximately 2,000 fecal particles and an even larger number of partially digested enzyme-covered dust particles. |

I use the "Ashby Ninja" as it one of the best steam cleaning machines on the market.
It blasts a powerful jet of hot water into the carpet pile removing the dirt. Before the dirt
can settle it is sucked up by a powerful suction pump leaving it clean and almost dry.
Drying time can vary depending on carpet pile.)
It is also used for upholstery in the same way,
using a fabric safe chemical which does not harm the upholstery in anyway.
I also i use it for soft
furnishings like curtains with the same great results. By using the Ninja, it will kill all fleas
and mites living in the carpet, leaving it in a sterile and clean condition, which is good
for people with breathing problems. I use it for mattresses, for removing stains plus all the
bed mites which could be on the mattress. Again leaving it in a sterile state as the water
in the machine is at a constant temperature of 60 degrees or more. ~ Michael
